The Samoan Pageant, set against the stunning backdrop of the High Desert, celebrates the rich cultural heritage and traditions of Samoa. This vibrant event features contestants showcasing their grace, beauty, and talents through traditional attire and performances that highlight Samoan customs.
Participants engage in storytelling and dance, promoting empowerment and pride in their identity. Judged by esteemed community leaders, the pageant emphasizes values like leadership and community spirit. As the night culminates in the crowning of the winner, the essence of Samoa is celebrated, uniting all in a joyful tribute to culture and diversity.
Participation Eligibility Criteria
4. The registered contestant must be able to communicate fluently in English.
5.. The registered contestant must be between the ages of 13 - 18 on the date of the pageant
1. The registered contestant must be female and of Samoan descent.
2.. The registered contestant must be able to communicate fluently in English.
3. The registered contestant cannot be married or pregnant.
7. The registered contestant must be be fully committed to adhering to all rules and regulations of the pageant upon acceptance.
6. The registered contestant must be in good physical and mental health, with no known contagious illnesses.
8. The registered contestant musthave never modeled for any sexually explicit or pornographic material. Artistic nude modeling is acceptable, but must receive prior approval from the organization.

Interview
In the interview section of a Samoan pageant, contestants will answer questions that focus on their connection to Samoan culture, traditions, and values. They will be asked to share their personal experiences, community involvement, and views on important issues. This segment allows contestants to demonstrate their communication skills, confidence, and how they embody the qualities of a true ambassador of Samoan heritage. The interview is an opportunity for them to showcase their personality, intelligence, and vision for the future.
In the Samoan evening gown category, contestants wear a traditional puletasi, showcasing their elegance and poise. This segment highlights their confidence, walk, and how they represent the beauty and pride of Samoa.

In the traditional wear category of the Samoan pageant, contestants wear the taupou attire, a cultural dress symbolizing Samoan heritage. Along with showcasing the beauty and significance of the taupou wear, contestants may also perform a traditional Samoan dance,
